My cat Silly

Is quite the character

The more she’s around

The more I fall in love with her

Cause there was a night

When everyone else was asleep

When I was alone in the kitchen

And my cat came walking up to me

Silly had a toy in her mouth

So I figured she wanted to play

So I gave the toy a toss

What I saw surprised me – even to this day

My cat plays fetch!

She ran after the toy, it’s true

Much to my surprise

She did what dogs do!

I hope you believe me

I know it’s a stretch

You’ve got to believe me!

She was having so much fun

So I kept throwing the toy

Every time she returned

I felt more and more joy

Because my cat plays fetch!

Does my cat think she’s a dog?

Or is she just being silly?

One thing is for certain

It makes me so happy!

Because what kind of cat does that?

What kind of cat plays that way?

How does she know how to do?

What is usually a dog’s way!

Maybe Silly thinks she’s a dog

Maybe she’s just being silly!

Maybe Silly is really smart

And she’s just trying to trick me

All I know

And all I see

Is my cat plays fetch

And she’s the coolest cat I’ve ever seen!
