The rooster couldn’t crow – try as he may

Nobody feels like helping

No matter what I say

Every tool in the yard

Has been getting in my way

What else could go wrong today?

The neighbor’s cat crossed the pasture

Something my dogs couldn’t miss

Giving this day

Another unexpected twist

Oh what a sight

You should see it now

There’s a cat in the pasture

And my dogs are having a cow!

The horses have already eaten

A days worth of hay

The alpacas keep on moving

When I want them to stay

The sky that once was blue

Is turning to gray

What else could go wrong today?
