Hooray, hooray, the time has come, 
for one and for all to see what’s been done!

Christ the Lord has set us free. 
From guilt and shame, at peace we will be.

God sent His Son to this Earth. 

Through a miracle – a virgin birth.

He lived this life – had thoughts and cried tears.

Anger and passion, received threats and cheers.

The Messiah, the King, the sinless one.

Oh the miracles that He had done.

Right when you thought that Christ had won.

He was nailed to a cross – done and done.

Done and done, the majority had thought.

The thought of Him rising, they had not.

Don’t hurry. Don’t worry. He’ll be back in three days!

Justifying His story and all of His ways.

He loves us so much – this was God’s one and only Son.

In a world full of chaos – love won.

So when you are feeling a little down and would like to feel hugged.

Remember the strength God gives you, and how much you are loved.

So put your faith in Him and you too can be free!

Oh the love He has for you and for me.
